横ルーバーを主なモチーフに構成されたダブルスキンカーテンウォール。
外側スキンはモチーフである横ルーバーがガラスの水平リブに置き換えられ、これをフェイスガラスの支持材、横つなぎ材として使用することで、最小の部材のみで透明なガラススファサードを実現しています。
フロートガラスはほぼ高透過に近い半高透過ガラスが使用され、透明感がより強調されると共に、まるでショウケースの中に本社ビルが収まっている印象を与えています。
狭い道路に面したファサードはピースフレーム構法となっており、近隣への視線に配慮した、月の満ち欠けが印刷されたセラミックプリントの合わせガラスが用いられ、とても印象的なファサードとなっています。
内部スキンの電動横ルーバーは建物に表情を与えると共に、日射遮蔽にも役立っており、ダブススキンとの相乗効果で、高性能なエコロジービルディングとなっています。
A double-skin curtain wall composed around the primary motif of horizontal louvers.
In the outer skin, the horizontal louvers are reinterpreted as horizontal glass fins. By utilizing these fins both as support members for the face glass and as horizontal connecting elements, the façade achieves a highly transparent glass appearance using only the minimum necessary structural components.
The float glass employs a semi low-iron, high-transparency specification, further enhancing the building’s clarity and giving the impression that the headquarters building itself is enclosed within a showcase.
The façade facing the narrow street adopts a piece-frame system. Laminated glass with ceramic printing inspired by the phases of the moon is used to provide privacy from neighboring buildings, resulting in a highly distinctive and memorable exterior expression.
The motorized horizontal louvers within the inner skin not only give the building a dynamic architectural character, but also contribute to solar shading performance. Together with the double-skin façade system, they create a highly efficient ecological building.
