PC横連窓＋エッジ補剛構法、Floor to Floorの銀二層Low-Eカーテンウォール、最大高さ10Mの階段状通しリブガラススクリーン、高さ11Mの左右2辺支持屋上カーテンウォール、さらに天空の庭ガラス階段と様々な様相が組み合わされたハイブリットなプロジェクトが完成しました。
特に天空の庭におけるガラス階段は、スパイラルスティールパイプからキャンチレバーの形で突き出したガラスリブに手摺と踏み板を留め付けた構造で、天空に浮遊してゆくような軽快な階段となっています。
手摺ガラスは化学強化の曲げ合わせガラスが使用され、ゆがみを極力抑えるとともに、踏み板にはMADRASの高透過ガラスが使われています。
A hybrid architectural project combining a wide variety of façade and glass technologies has been completed, including precast concrete horizontal ribbon windows with edge-stiffening systems, floor-to-floor double-silver Low-E curtain walls, stepped continuous rib-glass screens reaching heights of up to 10 meters, rooftop curtain walls supported on two sides at heights of 11 meters, and the “Sky Garden” glass staircase.
Particularly striking is the glass staircase within the Sky Garden. The structure is composed of glass ribs cantilevered outward from spiral steel pipes, with the balustrades and treads fixed directly to these projecting glass elements. The result is an exceptionally light and dynamic staircase that appears to float upward into the sky.
The balustrade glass utilizes chemically strengthened curved laminated glass to minimize distortion and maintain visual clarity, while the stair treads incorporate highly transparent MADRAS glass, enhancing the sensation of openness and lightness throughout the space.
