泉ガーデンタワーの兄弟ビルである六本木グランドタワーがオープンしました。泉ガーデンと六本木グランドタワー共に設計時から竣工まで足かけ15年にわたって関わらせていただいた思い出深いプロジェクトです。
高性能な倍強度合わせLOW-E複層、シャープな陰影の現場ユニットサッシ、中間階からカーテンウォールが開閉して出てくる中間ゴンドラ、凹凸のある3色ガラス使いの外壁等々、他のプロジェクトではあまり見られない様々な新しい技術がこのビルでも実現され、泉ガーデン同様、独自の存在感を放っています。
Roppongi Grand Tower, the sister building of Izumi Garden Tower, has officially opened. Both Izumi Garden Tower and Roppongi Grand Tower are especially memorable projects, having been involved continuously from the design stage through completion over a span of nearly fifteen years.
This building incorporates a wide range of innovative technologies rarely seen in other projects, including high-performance double-strength laminated Low-E insulating glass, sharply articulated site-unitized sash systems that create refined shadow lines, intermediate maintenance gondolas that emerge through operable curtain wall sections, and a richly textured façade composed of three different glass colors with varied surface depths.
As with Izumi Garden Tower, these advanced architectural and engineering features give the tower a unique and unmistakable presence.
