卵形の平⾯形状をした多⽬的ホールに設けられたガラスウォール。
鱗状に配置されたガラスと⽅⽴は、⾵圧の変化に従って左右を変えてお互
いを⽀える事でシール接着に頼らない動的な⽀持構造を実現しています。
あるときは多⾯体のようにあるときは鱗状に変化する外観と内観は、内と
外の境界を曖昧に感じさせ、ホールからの⾳を乱反射します。
このシンプルなファサードは様々な効果を取込みながら、ガラススクリー
ンの新たな可能性を⽰すものとなっています。
A glass wall was created for the multipurpose hall characterized by its egg-shaped floor plan.
The glass panels and mullions, arranged in a scale-like pattern, dynamically change their supporting direction in response to variations in wind pressure, mutually stabilizing one another. This system realizes a dynamic support structure that does not rely solely on structural sealant bonding.
At times appearing faceted like a polyhedron and at others resembling overlapping scales, the façade continuously transforms both externally and internally, blurring the boundary between inside and outside while also diffusing and reflecting sound emanating from the hall.
Through its deceptively simple composition, this façade integrates multiple environmental and spatial effects, demonstrating new possibilities for glass screen architecture.
